The Zuidas is going to get its very first golf tournament: ZUIDAS Golf Date. On June 7, the Golfcentrum Amsteldijk will be the place to be for socializing and networking – starting from 5.30 p.m., the event is open to players of all abilities: from experts to those who’ve never held a golf club before.
Initiators of this special event are Barbara Peek and publisher of Zuidas Magazine Eduard Herkes. Barbara is well known from ‘Lapeek Sport Style and of her “Little black dress for golf course and tennis court” and knows perfectly well how to connect people through sports events.
“It is the purpose of Zuidas Magazine”, explains Eduard,”we not only like to give insight in the world of Zuidas, but also like to organize lifestyle events here”.
Barbara continues,“The idea of Zuidas Golf Date was initiated last September and together with Eduard we had only one vision: Connect all those people who work and live at Zuidas. And the ultimate opportunity is while playing golf .

Why on Zuidas? “Well, first of all, this beautiful, upcoming, and exiting part of Amsterdam is rapidly developing and we would like to bring people and businesses together, so we decided on Golf Centre Amsteldijk because it is less than ten minutes from Zuidas. And next, Golf centre Amsteldijk has an outstanding training Centre, one of its kind in Europe.”
This tournament is not just for licenced golfers, if you have never played golf before, this is the right moment.

1. Texas Scramble Match- 9-hole A- status course (licensed players only)
2. Golf Clinic Short Game, 9-hole par 3 incl. (golf experience needed, no license)
3. A 2 hrs. Starter Clinic at the training centre of 9 Worlds (golf set incl.)
Zuidas Golf Style is a superb mix of networking, socializing and playing golf.
For part 1 and 2 you can make reservations up to 4 players, but of course you can come on your own and meet lots of fellow Zuidas co-workers.
-Costs per ticket Euro 75.- incl. green fee, clinic and training
-Golf centre Amsteldijk will provide all food and drinks
-Zuidas Golf Date starts at 17.30 until 23.30
-Distribution of prizes and closing at 23.30
