On Woningsdag 2020 (a play on words that turns King’s Day into Home Day), three violinists will treat Zuidas to mini concerts at 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00h. They will be drawing their bows across the strings on the roofs of Intermezzo and the Gershwin Brothers, and in the courtyard garden of Xavier.
The violins will be played by the 3Violas: Hessel Moeselaar, Floris Faber and Geerten Feller. At 13.00, they will play on the roof of Intermezzo, at 14.00, they will move to the courtyard garden of Xavier and at 15.00, they will appear on the roof of the Gershwin Brothers. The concerts will be short but sweet, lasting around 15 minutes. The exact programme will remain a surprise for now.

‘We’re delighted to be able to do this’, says Geerten Feller. ‘King’s Day is normally one of the highlights of our year; we help to get the party going in the city. But everything is hugely different this year. We feel very honoured to be asked to do something to bring some cheer to the people in Zuidas.’ The trio is known for its energetic style. So, what can residents expect? ‘A varied concert with music to make you relax and music to make you dance. Cheerful is the best word to describe it.’
